"Welcome To The New Jersey Knights Of Columbus Motorcycle Ministry"

We are a group of Catholic gentlemen who enjoy motorcycling and who exist to aid those in need. Our mission is simple: To serve the community by helping others however, whenever, wherever we can with our brothers in faith as motorcycle enthusiasts and adhering to the Knights of Columbus principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism.

Here you will find a calendar of events as well as photos of our activities. If you are interested in joining us, you will find an application in the "Join Us" area. Our only requirement for membership is that you are an active member of the Knights of Columbus "in good standing".

If you are not a Knight of Columbus as of yet, you can fill out an application on the NJ Knights of Columbus website.

As many of you know, during the summer months, my wife and I attend many charity rides, usually one per weekend.  This was by far one of the best, well ran events!

My hat is off to each and everyone of you for what you have accomplished and I am proud to have been a small part of it and to know you all!!

Thank you for the good things that you and the KOC MM do!

(about the 2014 NJKofCMM Special Olympics Run)

Brothers All:

At the 2014 NJ State Knights of Columbus Convention held on May 16-17 in Wildwood, we were presented with the highest state award, The State Deputy Award.  We should be very proud of ourselves that the work we do as Knights of Columbus on motorcycles is recognized by a lot of people all the way to the State Deputy.  We would like to thank our State Deputy Andy Lipenta for this award.  Below are 3 pictures.  One of our table with the award displayed at the convention, one of the award and one of myself and North Chapter President Ed Eismont proudly displaying the award.

Brothers All:

WOW!!!  That's what I can say about Sunday's Special Olympics Poker Run.  Last year we had about 100 bikes.  This year, with all your help in advertising and great weather for riding, we had about 170 bikes with about 25 passengers!!!  We haven't got the final figures yet but I'm sure it will be impressive!!!  Congratulations go out to Special Olympics Run Chairman Ralph Kinnick and his staff for a very successful run!!!  He had a live band, DJ Danny Gallos, The Patch Lady, Vendors and wonderful Portuguese style food from Joe C. and his council in Elizabeth!!!  The parking lot outside the council was packed!!!  Ralph wanted to thank all the volunteers from the Motorcycle Ministry for all the hard work.  It couldn't have been possible without all of you!!  Again, Kudos to OUR Motorcycle Ministry for another job well done!!!

I just got off the phone with the director of the "Ride for the Animals" some of us participated in last Sunday up in Pattenburg.  She told me that the comments she received about the ride were that this was the best ride they've ever had because the blockers knew what they were doing and did an outstanding job.  In previous years the pack was broken up because of cars coming in at lights and stop signs, but this year everyone remained together and there was a blocker at each intersection.  She practically begged me to make sure the Ministry takes part again next year.

Outstanding job gentlemen, I love to hear things like this.

Vivat Jesus!
