"Welcome To The New Jersey Knights Of Columbus Motorcycle Ministry"

We are a group of Catholic gentlemen who enjoy motorcycling and who exist to aid those in need. Our mission is simple: To serve the community by helping others however, whenever, wherever we can with our brothers in faith as motorcycle enthusiasts and adhering to the Knights of Columbus principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism.

Here you will find a calendar of events as well as photos of our activities. If you are interested in joining us, you will find an application in the "Join Us" area. Our only requirement for membership is that you are an active member of the Knights of Columbus "in good standing".

If you are not a Knight of Columbus as of yet, you can fill out an application on the NJ Knights of Columbus website.

ACCOLADES

Gang,

As many of you know, during the summer months, my wife and I attend many charity rides, usually one per weekend.  This was by far one of the best, well ran events!

My hat is off to each and everyone of you for what you have accomplished and I am proud to have been a small part of it and to know you all!!

Thank you for the good things that you and the KOC MM do!

Brothers All:

At the 2014 NJ State Knights of Columbus Convention held on May 16-17 in Wildwood, we were presented with the highest state award, The State Deputy Award.  We should be very proud of ourselves that the work we do as Knights of Columbus on motorcycles is recognized by a lot of people all the way to the State Deputy.  We would like to thank our State Deputy Andy Lipenta for this award.  Below are 3 pictures.  One of our table with the award displayed at the convention, one of the award and one of myself and North Chapter President Ed Eismont proudly displaying the award.

Fraternally,

Vinnie Covino, FDD

From our Worthy State Warden and Past NJKofCMM President Jim Stoever

Gentlemen,

I received the mid year report on the programs offered by the State Council.  You can imagine my pride when I read the following report on the MM.  Congratulations and let us continue to build on our accomplishments.

"MOTORCYCLE MINISTRY

Last year the MM was awarded the State Deputy's award for all the work they did. Needless to say they have not slowed down one bit. They continue to do rides to fund Special projects, and helping the needy, laying flags at veteran's grave sites, and coming to take Vets to Mass at their Veterans hospitals. This group of men are second to none."

Enjoy the day,

Jim

Brothers,

I just got off the phone with the director of the "Ride for the Animals" some of us participated in last Sunday up in Pattenburg.  She told me that the comments she received about the ride were that this was the best ride they've ever had because the blockers knew what they were doing and did an outstanding job.  In previous years the pack was broken up because of cars coming in at lights and stop signs, but this year everyone remained together and there was a blocker at each intersection.  She practically begged me to make sure the Ministry takes part again next year.

Outstanding job gentlemen, I love to hear things like this.

Vivat Jesus!
Jim

Today we light again the candles of Hope, Love, and Joy, and the fourth purple candle, the candle of Peace. Christ is the Prince of peace, come to reconcile us with God and others. Christ helps us to see that peace is possible.
